- We need children’s books, all ages
- There are hundreds of children at Pitt County Memorial hospital to include dozens of babies in the neo-natal unit.
- Our mission is to give each family with a baby in the neo-natal unit a new book when they leave the hospital.
- Our mission also includes providing new books for children of all ages,we want to provide these young folks with tools to spark the imagination, allow them an opportunity to escape.
This new program won’t be successful without community involvement, please consider donating a new book or sending a donation, details below.

We are partnering with Barnes & Noble!
We are pleased to announce a partnership with Barnes and Noble this holiday season to collect books for children in the hospital. These books will be available for purchase at Barnes & Noble during the Holiday Season! More details to follow.

The Detachment donated 70 books to the Children’s Hospital today - 34 books will be distributed families with babies in the neo-natal unit, a great opportunity to encourage parents to read to their children. We also donated books for older children to enjoy. Thanks to Detachment Marine Will Buckman for his hard work.
